Role & Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service and build individual and vendor-line sales volumes.
• Establish and maintain customer relationships, work effectively with team members, and develop new Saks Fifth Avenue accounts.
• Adhere consistently to company standards and procedures.
• Participate in in-house training programs and pre-booked facial consultation events.
• Maintain a properly merchandised counter and proficiently close retail sales.
• Use Saks Fifth Avenue’s clienteling system to drive personal business and success.
• Model Saks Fifth Avenue’s principles: Greet, Relate, Exceed, Attend and Thank.
• Achieve and exceed individual, vendor-line and event sales goals, as well as daily and monthly department sales goals.
• Represent the brand and department while maintaining excellent customer relationships and a consistently high level of service.
• Maintain a positive image as the liaison between Saks Fifth Avenue and the designated Account Executive.
• Use the online clienteling resource tool to record and maintain client information and preferences.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience from initial approach and application through sale completion and follow-up.
• Keep the counter clean, tidy and welcoming.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of retail experience, preferably in a customer-focused cosmetics environment.
• Demonstrated successful sales experience, including exceeding quota.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment requiring substantial multitasking with minimal supervision.
• Ability to learn and use online clienteling tools and software proprietary to Saks Fifth Avenue.
• Attention to detail, initiative and a positive approach to the work environment.
• Ability to work effectively with others and independently to drive a successful business.
• Sound business judgment and organizational ability.
• Ability to provide professional makeup and treatment consultations and applications.

Skills

Experience

Minimum 1 year of retail experience, preferably in a customer-focused cosmetics environment.
