Role & Responsibilities
- Model the Saks Fifth Avenue service principles (Greet, Relate, Exceed, Attend, and Thank) in all customer interactions
- Achieve and exceed individual and vendor line sales goals, event sales targets, and department daily/monthly sales objectives
- Build and maintain excellent customer relationships through product expertise and personalized brand representation
- Utilize Saks Fifth Avenue's clienteling platform to record, maintain, and leverage client information and preferences to drive personal business
- Conduct professional makeup consultations and skincare/treatment application demonstrations
- Maintain counter presentation standards, cleanliness, and welcoming selling environment
- Facilitate pre-booked facial consultation events and in-house training programs
- Serve as liaison between Saks Fifth Avenue and designated vendor Account Executives, maintaining professional communication and positive relationships
- Execute consultative selling approach from customer approach through application, closing, and post-sale follow-up
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of retail experience, preferably in a customer-focused cosmetics environment
- Demonstrated track record of successful sales performance exceeding quota
- Proficiency with or ability to quickly learn proprietary online clienteling tools and retail software systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational ability
- Professional presentation and demonstrated expertise in makeup consultation and application
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, team-oriented environments with minimal supervision
Skills
Experience
Minimum 1 year of retail experience in a customer-focused environment, preferably cosmetics or beauty retail. Previously demonstrated ability to exceed individual sales quotas and build a client base.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; additional beauty or cosmetology certification preferred but not required.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 13 to USD 18 per hour.
