Role & Responsibilities
- Model and embody Saks Fifth Avenue service principles—Greet, Relate, Exceed, Attend, and Thank—in all customer interactions
- Achieve and exceed individual and vendor line sales goals, event sales targets, and department sales objectives through consultative selling
- Build and maintain a robust portfolio of clientele using Saks Fifth Avenue's proprietary clienteling tool, recording preferences and creating personalized follow-up strategies
- Deliver professional make-up consultations and product applications, positioning oneself as the brand and department expert
- Maintain counter standards by ensuring a clean, welcoming, and properly merchandised selling area
- Collaborate effectively with team members and serve as the primary liaison between Saks Fifth Avenue and assigned vendor Account Executives
- Execute seamless transactions from customer approach through closing the sale and post-purchase follow-up
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of retail experience, preferably in a cosmetics or beauty environment
- Demonstrated track record of exceeding individual sales quotas
- Proficiency with online clienteling tools and point-of-sale systems
- Strong ability to multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with minimal supervision
- Professional knowledge of make-up consultation and application techniques
