Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exemplary customer service across approach, consultation, application and sale, consistently modeling Saks Fifth Avenue service principles (Greet, Relate, Exceed, Attend, Thank).
- Achieve and exceed individual and vendor line sales targets, event goals and daily/ monthly departmental objectives.
- Conduct professional make-up and skincare consultations, demonstrations and treatment applications tailored to client needs.
- Utilize Saks Fifth Avenue's clienteling system to record client details, preferences and follow-up activities to drive repeat business.
- Maintain immaculate counter presentation and merchandising standards, ensuring a welcoming and revenue-optimised selling environment.
- Collaborate closely with the Cosmetics Selling Manager, Account Executives and vendor partners to execute events, pre-booked facial consultations and promotional activity.
Qualifications
- Minimum one year of retail experience, preferably within a cosmetics or beauty-focused environment.
- Proven history of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and vendor line targets.
- Demonstrated proficiency in professional make-up application and skincare consultation.
- Strong organisational skills, sound business judgement and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Comfortable learning and using proprietary online clienteling tools and retail systems.
- Ability to work independently to grow personal business while contributing positively to team performance.

Experience
At least one year of retail experience, ideally in a cosmetics environment, with documented success in meeting or exceeding sales targets and delivering high-touch client consultations.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; cosmetology, esthetician or makeup artistry certification preferred.
