Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, personalized customer service from approach through close, modeling Saks Principles (Greet, Relate, Exceed, Attend, Thank).
- Achieve and exceed individual, vendor line and event sales targets; proactively drive personal business using clienteling.
- Conduct pre-booked facial consultations, makeup and treatment applications, and follow-up to cultivate repeat business.
- Maintain professional counter standards: merchandising, cleanliness, and an inviting sales environment.
- Use Saks Fifth Avenue clienteling systems to record customer preferences, schedule appointments and build long-term relationships.
- Collaborate with the Cosmetics Selling Manager and brand Account Executives to execute promotions, training and in-store events.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of retail experience, preferably within cosmetics or a customer-focused beauty environment.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
- Demonstrable skill in professional makeup application and skincare consultation.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
- Comfort with learning and using proprietary online clienteling tools and point-of-sale systems.
