Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, personalized luxury beauty consultations from approach through application to sale and follow‑up, consistently modelling Saks Fifth Avenue principles (Greet, Relate, Exceed, Attend, Thank).
- Drive individual and vendor line sales, meet event and department sales targets, and build a loyal client base through pre‑booked facial consultations and in‑store events.
- Utilize Saks Fifth Avenue’s online clienteling system to record client profiles, preferences and purchase history to grow repeat business.
- Maintain a fully merchandised, tidy and welcoming cosmetics counter that reflects brand standards and merchandising guidelines.
- Collaborate with the Cosmetics Selling Manager, Account Executives and cross‑functional colleagues to maximize promotional opportunities and support vendor initiatives.
- Participate in in‑house training programmes and product education to remain the brand expert and improve conversion and average transaction value.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of retail experience, preferably within a cosmetics or customer‑facing beauty environment.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Proficiency with clienteling tools and the ability to learn proprietary retail software.
- Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
- Demonstrated competence in professional make‑up application, skincare consultation and treatment recommendations.
- Sound business judgment, organizational ability and capacity to work both collaboratively and autonomously.

Experience
At least one year of retail experience, ideally within cosmetics or luxury beauty, with documented success against sales targets and experience running consultations and pre‑booked beauty services.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; cosmetology, esthetician certification or formal beauty training is advantageous.
