Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience across approach, consultation, application and sale-closing; act as the Cle de Peau brand expert on the counter.
- Achieve and exceed individual, vendor-line, event and department sales targets through proactive selling and follow-up.
- Develop and maintain client relationships using Saks Fifth Avenue’s clienteling tools to capture preferences and drive repeat business.
- Support and execute in‑house training, pre-booked facial consultation events and vendor-led activities to grow line performance.
- Maintain visual and operational counter standards: merchandising, cleanliness and a welcoming selling environment.
- Collaborate with the Cosmetics Selling Manager and Account Executive to align on goals, inventory and promotional activity.
Qualifications
- Minimum one year of retail experience, preferably within a cosmetics or beauty-focused environment.
- Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
- Proven ability to consult and apply professional make-up and skin treatment techniques.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and capable of multi-tasking with minimal supervision.
- Proficient with clienteling workflows and willing to learn proprietary Saks Fifth Avenue online clienteling systems.
- Strong organizational skills, sound business judgment and a client-focused disposition.
