Role & Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional, personalised beauty consultations and makeup application to drive individual and vendor line sales.
• Achieve and exceed individual, vendor and department sales targets, including event and daily/monthly goals.
• Build and maintain lasting client relationships using Saks Fifth Avenue’s clienteling tools and follow‑up practices.
• Execute pre‑booked facial consultations and in‑store brand events to maximise sales conversion and client retention.
• Maintain counter standards and merchandising to ensure a clean, inviting and brand‑accurate selling environment.
• Participate in in‑house training and vendor education programs to remain product‑knowledgeable and brand‑aligned.
• Collaborate with the Cosmetics Selling Manager, Account Executive and store team to align on business priorities and promotional activity.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year retail experience, preferably in a cosmetics or luxury beauty environment.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
• Proficiency in professional makeup application and treatment consultation.
• Ability to learn and effectively use proprietary online clienteling and CRM tools.
• Strong organisational skills, sound business judgment, and the capacity to multi‑task in a fast‑paced team setting.
• Demonstrated initiative, attention to detail and a customer‑centric sales approach.

Skills

Experience

At least one year of retail cosmetics or beauty sales experience with demonstrated success against sales targets and familiarity with in‑store events and consultation-driven selling.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required; cosmetology, esthetics or professional makeup certification preferred.
