Role & Responsibilities
- Model all Saks Fifth Avenue Principles (Greet, Relate, Exceed, Attend, and Thank) in all customer interactions
- Focus on achieving and exceeding individual and vendor line sales goals, event sales targets, and department daily and monthly sales objectives
- Maintain a consistently high level of customer service by creating and developing excellent customer relationships as the brand expert and department representative
- Serve as a positive liaison between Saks Fifth Avenue and designated Brand Account Executives
- Utilize Saks Fifth Avenue's online clienteling resource tool to record and maintain client information and preferences to drive personal business growth
- Provide exceptional customer experience from initial approach through product application to closing the sale and post-purchase follow-up
- Maintain counter standards by ensuring a clean, tidy, and welcoming selling environment
- Conduct makeup and skincare consultations and product demonstrations
- Participate in in-house training programs and pre-booked facial consultation events
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of retail experience, preferably in a customer-focused cosmetics environment
- Previously demonstrated successful sales experience with a track record of exceeding quota
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with minimal supervision
- Proficiency in learning and utilizing online clienteling tools and software proprietary to Saks Fifth Avenue
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to taking initiative and maintaining a positive work environment
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members while also driving independent business success
- Sound business judgment and strong organizational ability
- Professional makeup and treatment consultation and application skills
