Role & Responsibilities

• Model Saks Fifth Avenue service principles (Greet, Relate, Exceed, Attend, Thank) in all customer interactions
• Achieve and exceed individual and vendor line sales goals, event sales targets, and department daily and monthly revenue objectives
• Develop and maintain exceptional customer relationships by positioning oneself as a brand expert and department authority
• Conduct professional makeup applications and skincare treatment consultations, demonstrating advanced beauty expertise
• Utilize Saks' proprietary clienteling platform to record and manage client information, preferences, and purchase history to drive personalized business development
• Maintain counter standards by ensuring a clean, welcoming, and properly merchandised selling environment
• Serve as a liaison between Saks Fifth Avenue and designated Account Executives to ensure vendor relationships and brand standards are upheld
• Execute pre-booked facial consultations and in-house training programs to elevate client engagement and sales
• Close transactions with proficiency while following up with clients post-purchase to foster loyalty

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of retail sales experience, preferably in a luxury cosmetics or prestige beauty environment
• Demonstrated track record of consistently exceeding sales quotas and achieving revenue targets
• Proficiency with computer-based systems and ability to quickly learn proprietary clienteling software
• Professional makeup application and consultation expertise with ability to demonstrate products skillfully
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clientele
• Demonstrated sound business judgment and organizational capability
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment requiring multitasking with minimal supervision

Experience

Minimum 1 year of retail experience in a customer-focused environment, preferably in cosmetics or luxury beauty. Candidates should have a proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and demonstrate proficiency in delivering consultative, personalized customer service in a prestige beauty setting.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 19.16 to USD 23.95 per hour.
