The Beauty Advisor at Saks Fifth Avenue’s Le Labo counter in Beverly Hills drives individual and vendor sales, builds client relationships, delivers makeup and treatment consultations, and maintains counter standards. The role is full-time and pays $22.03–$27.54 per hour, with benefits including insurance coverage, a 401(k), and an employee discount.

Role & Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service and build individual and vendor-line sales volumes.
• Establish and maintain customer relationships, work effectively with team members, and establish new Saks Fifth Avenue accounts while adhering to company standards and procedures.
• Participate in in-house training programs and pre-booked facial consultation events, maintain a properly merchandised counter, and proficiently close retail sales.
• Drive personal business and success using Saks Fifth Avenue’s clienteling system.
• Model Saks Fifth Avenue’s principles: Greet, Relate, Exceed, Attend, and Thank.
• Achieve and exceed individual, vendor-line, event, and department daily and monthly sales goals.
• Build excellent customer relationships as a brand expert and department representative, maintaining a consistently high level of customer service.
• Represent Saks Fifth Avenue positively in dealings with the designated Account Executive.
• Use Saks Fifth Avenue’s online clienteling resource to record and maintain client information and preferences.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience from initial approach and product application through sale closure and follow-up.
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and welcoming counter and selling area.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of retail experience, preferably in a customer-focused cosmetics environment.
• Demonstrated successful sales experience and a record of exceeding quota.
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment requiring substantial multitasking with minimal supervision.
• Ability to learn and use Saks Fifth Avenue’s proprietary online clienteling tools and software.
• Attention to detail, initiative, and a positive approach to the working environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently to drive a successful business.
• Sound business judgment and organizational ability.
• Professional makeup and treatment consultation and application skills.
