Saks Fifth Avenue in Beverly Hills seeks a Beauty Advisor (Christian Dior) to deliver bespoke makeup consultations and drive cosmetics sales.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver an exceptional, personalized customer experience from approach through application, closing and follow-up, consistently modelling Saks Fifth Avenue principles (Greet, Relate, Exceed, Attend, Thank).
- Achieve and exceed individual, vendor-line and event sales targets; proactively drive personal business using the store’s clienteling tools.
- Provide professional makeup and treatment consultations and application tailored to client needs and brand standards.
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships and create new Saks Fifth Avenue accounts through proactive outreach and follow-up.
- Partner with vendor Account Executives to represent assigned beauty brands onsite and support product launches and promotional events.
- Maintain counter presentation and merchandising standards to ensure a clean, inviting and commercially effective selling environment.
- Participate in training programs, pre-booked facial consultation events and other vendor- or store-led initiatives to grow technical and sales capabilities.
Qualifications
- Minimum one year of retail experience, preferably within a cosmetics or beauty-focused environment.
- Proven sales performance with a track record of meeting or exceeding quota.
- Demonstrated expertise in professional makeup application and skincare/treatment consultation.
- Strong customer-service orientation with the ability to build lasting client relationships.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while managing multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
- Ability to learn and use clienteling tools and proprietary retail software; strong organizational and business-judgement skills.

Experience
Minimum one year of retail experience, ideally in a cosmetics environment, with demonstrated success in exceeding sales targets and executing makeup/skincare consultations.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; cosmetology, esthetician or professional makeup certification preferred.
