Saks Fifth Avenue in Bal Harbour seeks a Beauty Advisor (Chantecaille) to drive cosmetics sales, deliver consultations, and manage client relationships.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, personalized beauty consultations from approach through application to close, consistently modelling Saks Fifth Avenue customer service principles (Greet, Relate, Exceed, Attend, Thank).
- Achieve and exceed individual, vendor line and event sales targets while developing and maintaining a loyal client base.
- Use Saks Fifth Avenue's clienteling system to record client preferences, manage follow-ups and drive repeat business.
- Plan and execute pre-booked facial and makeup consultation events, and support vendor-driven activations.
- Maintain counter standards and merchandising: ensure a clean, fully stocked, and visually compelling selling area.
- Act as a brand ambassador and liaison with the designated Account Executive to support product initiatives and vendor relationships.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year retail experience; prior cosmetics or beauty counter experience strongly preferred.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas in a customer-facing role.
- Proficiency with clienteling tools and comfort learning proprietary retail software.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrable professional makeup and skincare consultation/application skills.

Experience
Minimum one year of retail experience, preferably within a cosmetics or beauty counter environment, with documented success against sales targets and experience managing client appointments and events.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; cosmetology, esthetics, or makeup certification preferred.
