Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, personalized customer service from approach through follow-up, modeling Saks Fifth Avenue Principles (Greet, Relate, Exceed, Attend, Thank).
- Achieve and exceed individual, vendor line and event sales targets; proactively drive personal business using Saks clienteling resources.
- Conduct professional makeup, skincare and treatment consultations and demonstrate product application techniques.
- Schedule and deliver pre-booked facial consultation events and in‑store beauty services to build recurring clientele.
- Maintain counter standards, merchandising and a welcoming selling area aligned with brand presentation guidelines.
- Record and maintain accurate client profiles and preferences in Saks Fifth Avenue's clienteling system to enable targeted follow-up and conversion.
- Collaborate with Account Executives, Cosmetics Selling Manager and cross-functional colleagues to support vendor initiatives and promotions.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year retail experience, preferably in a customer-focused cosmetics or beauty environment.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
- Demonstrated ability to perform professional makeup and treatment consultation and product application.
- Comfortable using online clienteling tools and proprietary retail software.
- Strong organization, business judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
