Role & Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service and build individual and vendor-line sales volumes.
• Establish and maintain customer relationships, develop new Saks Fifth Avenue accounts, and work effectively with team members.
• Participate in in-house training programs and pre-booked facial consultation events; maintain a properly merchandised counter and proficiently close retail sales.
• Use the Saks Fifth Avenue clienteling system to drive individual business and create sales success.
• Model Saks Fifth Avenue principles: Greet, Relate, Exceed, Attend and Thank.
• Achieve and exceed individual, vendor-line, event and department daily and monthly sales goals.
• Represent the brand and department while maintaining excellent customer relationships and a consistently high level of service.
• Maintain a positive image as liaison between Saks Fifth Avenue and the designated Account Executive.
• Use the online clienteling resource tool to record and maintain client information and preferences.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience from initial approach and product application through sale and follow-up.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and welcoming counter and selling area.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of retail experience, preferably in a customer-focused cosmetics environment.
• Demonstrated successful sales experience and a record of exceeding quota.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment requiring extensive multitasking and minimal supervision.
• Ability to learn and use Saks Fifth Avenue proprietary online clienteling tools and software.
• Attention to detail, initiative and a positive approach to the work environment.
• Ability to collaborate with others and work independently to develop a successful business.
• Sound business judgment and organizational ability.
• Professional makeup and treatment consultation and application skills.

Skills

Experience

At least 1 year of retail experience, preferably in a customer-focused cosmetics environment.
