Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, personalised client service throughout the selling cycle — approach, application, closing and follow-up — modelling Saks Fifth Avenue principles (Greet, Relate, Exceed, Attend, Thank).
- Achieve and exceed individual, vendor line, event and department sales targets through active selling and proactive clienteling.
- Develop and maintain long-term client relationships using Saks Fifth Avenue’s clienteling tools to record preferences, schedule consultations and drive repeat business.
- Serve as the department ambassador and liaison with designated Account Executives, representing the brand professionally and maintaining positive vendor relationships.
- Maintain merchandising and counter standards: ensure a clean, inviting selling area and professionally merchandised product presentation.
- Support in-house training programmes, pre-booked facial consultation events and promotional activities to elevate brand presence and sales.
- Perform professional make-up and treatment consultations and applications, tailoring recommendations to client needs and skin types.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of retail experience, preferably within a customer-focused cosmetics or beauty environment.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and driving personal revenue performance.
- Demonstrable proficiency in make-up application, treatment consultation and product knowledge.
- Ability to learn and effectively use online clienteling tools and proprietary Saks Fifth Avenue systems.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and sound business judgment.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while also operating autonomously to build business.

Experience
Minimum one year of retail experience, with preference for candidates who have worked in cosmetics or beauty counters and who have a demonstrated history of exceeding sales targets.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or beauty accreditation is advantageous but not required.
