Saks Fifth Avenue in Greenwich, CT seeks an Asset Protection Officer. $22.03–$27.54/hr; oversee loss prevention, investigations and inventory control.
Role & Responsibilities
- Monitor shortage results and implement shortage-control strategies across merchandise groups.
- Conduct and lead investigations into internal and external theft, including evidence collection, reporting and apprehensions when required.
- Deliver training to store associates on asset protection procedures, safety protocols and shortage awareness.
- Oversee daily and monthly inventory integrity through reports, audits and reconciliation processes.
- Organize and execute the annual store inventory and related cycle counts.
- Develop and enforce paperwork controls, shrink mitigation tactics and store-level safety programs.
- Work under direction of the Asset Protection Manager or Assistant General Manager Operations and perform ad hoc asset protection duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of asset protection or loss-prevention experience in a high-volume retail environment.
- Wicklander-Zulawski Certification required.
- Certification(s) required where applicable by local jurisdiction.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

Experience
At least two years of asset protection or loss-prevention experience in a large, high-volume retail environment, with demonstrated experience conducting investigations, audits and implementing shrink-reduction strategies.
Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
