Role & Responsibilities
- Monitor shortage results and implement shortage-control strategies across merchandise categories.
- Conduct internal and external theft investigations and support apprehension procedures under direction of the Asset Protection Manager.
- Train and coach store associates on asset protection policies, awareness and loss-prevention best practices.
- Maintain integrity of physical inventory through daily and monthly reports, audits and reconciliations.
- Plan, organise and execute the store's annual inventory and ad hoc cycle counts.
- Develop and enforce paperwork controls and documentation standards to reduce shrink.
- Collaborate with store leadership to implement store safety and awareness programmes.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of asset protection or loss-prevention experience in a large-volume retail environment.
- Wicklander-Zulawski Certification (required).
- Certification as required by local jurisdiction for apprehension or security duties.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

Experience
At least 2 years of progressive asset protection or loss-prevention experience within a high-volume retail environment, including investigative case work and inventory control.
