Role & Responsibilities
- Monitor shortage results and implement shortage-control strategies across merchandise groups.
- Lead and conduct investigations into internal and external theft, including evidence collection, interview documentation and apprehensions where appropriate.
- Train and coach store associates on asset protection awareness, procedures and incident reporting.
- Oversee daily and monthly inventory reports and audits to preserve the integrity of physical inventory.
- Organize and execute the annual store inventory process.
- Develop and maintain paperwork controls, shortage-awareness programs and loss-prevention protocols.
- Coordinate with store leadership, Asset Protection management and local law enforcement as required; maintain accurate case and incident records.
- Perform ad hoc asset protection duties and support store safety initiatives.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of asset protection or loss-prevention experience in a large-volume retail environment.
- Wicklander-Zulawski Certification required.
- Certification(s) required by jurisdiction must be obtained where applicable.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

At least two years of hands-on asset protection or loss-prevention experience in a high-volume retail setting, with proven experience conducting investigations, managing inventory audits and implementing shortage-control strategies.
