Role & Responsibilities
- Monitor shortage results and execute shortage-control measures across assigned merchandise groups.
- Conduct and lead internal investigations and apprehensions related to internal and external theft.
- Train and coach store associates on asset protection awareness, procedures, and safety protocols.
- Maintain integrity of physical inventory through daily and monthly reports, audits, and paperwork controls.
- Organize and conduct annual store inventory and produce follow-up action plans.
- Develop and implement shortage mitigation strategies and loss-prevention programs.
- Support ad hoc operational tasks and collaborate with the Asset Protection Manager and store leadership on store safety initiatives.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of asset protection or loss-prevention experience in a large-volume retail environment.
- Wicklander-Zulawski Certification required.
- Certification(s) required by applicable jurisdiction (where mandated) prior to performing certain duties.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

At least two years of hands-on asset protection or loss-prevention experience in a high-volume retail setting, including conducting investigations, supporting inventory programs, and implementing shortage mitigation strategies.
