Role & Responsibilities
- Monitor shortage metrics and oversee shortage control initiatives to protect merchandise integrity.
- Conduct and coordinate internal and external theft investigations and, where required, apprehensions in accordance with store policy and jurisdictional law.
- Train and coach store associates on asset protection awareness, procedures and loss-prevention best practices.
- Manage regular inventory reporting and audits on a daily and monthly cadence; organise and execute the annual physical inventory.
- Develop shortage-reduction strategies for merchandise categories, implement paperwork controls and promote shortage awareness across store teams.
- Implement store safety and awareness programmes and perform ad hoc asset protection tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years' asset protection or loss-prevention experience in a high-volume retail environment.
- Wicklander-Zulawski Certification required.
- Certification required where applicable by local jurisdiction.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

At least 2 years of hands-on asset protection or loss-prevention experience within a large-volume retail environment, with demonstrated experience conducting investigations and implementing shortage-reduction strategies.
Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
