Role & Responsibilities
- Monitor shortage results, shortage control and store-level inventory integrity; analyze daily and monthly inventory reports.
- Lead and deliver training for store associates on asset protection policies, awareness and apprehension procedures.
- Manage and conduct annual store inventory and ad hoc cycle counts to ensure accurate stock reconciliation.
- Develop and implement shortage mitigation strategies for merchandise categories, paperwork controls and shrink awareness.
- Conduct and support investigations and apprehensions related to internal and external theft; implement store safety and awareness programs.
- Perform ad hoc asset protection duties as required by store leadership or Asset Protection management.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of asset protection experience in a large-volume retail environment.
- Wicklander-Zulawski Certification (required).
- Certification required where applicable by jurisdiction (e.g., state security or detention certifications).
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Demonstrated ability to lead investigations, conduct inventory audits and train store personnel on loss-prevention procedures.
