Role & Responsibilities
- Monitor store shortage results and execute shortage-control strategies to protect merchandise integrity.
- Conduct and oversee daily and monthly inventory reports and audits; organize and lead the annual store inventory.
- Investigate suspected internal and external theft, coordinate apprehensions and maintain detailed incident documentation.
- Develop and implement shortage mitigation plans, paperwork controls and merchandise-group specific loss prevention tactics.
- Train and coach store associates on asset protection policies, safety protocols and loss-prevention awareness.
- Support store safety programs and perform ad hoc asset protection duties as directed by Asset Protection Manager or AGM.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of asset protection or loss-prevention experience in a large-volume retail environment.
- Wicklander-Zulawski certification required.
- Certification as required by local jurisdiction (where applicable).
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

At least 2 years of asset protection or loss-prevention experience within a high-volume retail setting, with hands-on involvement in investigations, inventory control and associate training.
