Role & Responsibilities
- Model all Saks Fifth Avenue customer service principles.
- Achieve and exceed individual performance and productivity goals.
- Build and maintain excellent customer relationships through consistently high customer service.
- Follow Saks Fifth Avenue policies and procedures, as well as alteration workroom policies and tailor procedures.
- Use tailoring expertise to make alteration decisions during customer fittings.

Qualifications
- At least 3 years of fitting and tailoring experience with high-end merchandise.
- Ability to fit and alter a wide range of garments.
- Strong technical background in specialty skills such as leather, knits, double-face fabrics, beading, fine tailoring, and buttonholes is desired and beneficial.
- Ability to use standard sewing, pressing, and spotting equipment.
- Ability to use double-blind, buttonhole, cover-stitch, and leather specialty machines.
- Knowledge of the alterations industry, including the fabrication and styling of luxury merchandise.
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
