Saint-Louis, a subsidiary of the Hermès group and distinguished manufacturer of hand-blown and hand-cut crystal, seeks a Technical Project Manager to lead the development and industrialization of new collections and B2B projects. Reporting to the Head of Technical Development, this role bridges product design, artisanal craftsmanship, and manufacturing to bring collections to market on schedule, within budget, and to exacting quality standards. The successful candidate will manage the complete product lifecycle from conception through production, balancing artistic direction with technical feasibility and ensuring compliance with regulatory and certification requirements.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end development of Saint-Louis tableware, decorative crystal, and bespoke lighting components from design definition through production launch
- Guide designers and artistic direction with deep knowledge of the manufacture's savoir-faire and technical capabilities
- Develop and manage B2B client projects in close collaboration with sales teams and direct client engagement to establish comprehensive technical specifications
- Identify and qualify suppliers for subcontracted and purchased components
- Oversee industrialization of new products and process improvements for existing product lines, working directly with production and subcontracting partners
- Ensure provision of technical documentation, product datasheets, tooling, and production templates to manufacturing teams
- Input and maintain technical data and manufacturing methods in the ERP system and Bolduc technical database
- Manage multiple concurrent projects simultaneously while maintaining adherence to timelines and performance metrics
Qualifications
- Degree in engineering (mechanical engineering, general engineering) or equivalent Bac +5 technical qualification
- Minimum 3 years of demonstrated experience managing new product development projects
- Proficiency in CAD software
- Fluent English
- Proven ability to structure and autonomously pilot projects from scoping through delivery with clear performance indicators
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively across operational teams and artisanal workshops
- Sensitivity to artisanal craftsmanship and heritage manufacturing traditions
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in new product development management, preferably in manufacturing, luxury goods, or technical industries involving design-to-production workflows.
Education
Bachelor's degree (Bac +3 minimum) or Master's degree (Bac +5) in a technical discipline such as mechanical engineering, general engineering, or equivalent field.
