Rubattel & Weyermann seeks a Machine Setter in La Chaux-de-Fonds to set up and monitor machinery, maintain production quality, manage tooling and coordinate production flow. The role requires a production mechanics qualification or equivalent, confirmed machine-setting experience, and flexibility for 2x8 shift schedules.
Role & Responsibilities
- Set up and start machines.
- Perform quality checks and approve production runs at start-up in accordance with self-inspection instructions.
- Modify programs through the machine interface.
- Resolve problems and pursue improvement initiatives in collaboration with technical and quality staff.
- Provide technical production follow-up and guidance.
- Help allocate tasks across the machine park and coordinate production flow.
- Manage tooling.
- When necessary, carry out production while meeting deadlines and quality standards.
Qualifications
- CFC qualification in production mechanics or equivalent.
- Confirmed experience as a machine setter on automatic assembly or dosing machines.
- Able to read technical drawings and use inspection equipment.
- French at native-speaker level or excellent proficiency.
