Role & Responsibilities

  • Perform manual application of SLN (luminescent) compounds on watch dials with micron‑level precision and consistent aesthetic finish.
  • Set up, adjust and fine‑tune semi‑automatic machinery used in luminescent material deposition and dial finishing processes.
  • Execute in‑process and final quality checks for adhesion, fill, thickness and visual appearance; reject or remediate non‑conforming parts.
  • Maintain accurate production records and batch traceability in accordance with internal quality systems and Swatch Group standards.
  • Carry out routine cleaning, first‑line maintenance and basic troubleshooting of equipment; escalate mechanical faults to maintenance teams.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to optimise process yield, repeatability and occupational safety.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in manual application of SLN (or equivalent Super‑LumiNova) luminescent materials.
  • Demonstrable competence in setting up and adjusting semi‑automatic production machinery.
  • Excellent manual dexterity, steady hand and strong visual acuity for fine detail work.
  • Knowledge of precision surface decoration techniques and watch dial finishing processes.
  • Understanding of quality control principles, traceability and basic metrology.

Experience

1–3 years of experience in precision manufacturing or watch component finishing, ideally with direct exposure to luminescent material application and semi‑automatic machine set‑up.

Education

Vocational diploma or equivalent training in watchmaking, micro‑mechanics, precision engineering or industrial production; equivalent hands‑on experience will be considered.
