Ruinart House Ambassador position in Reims, France – Welcome guests, lead tastings, and deliver luxury hospitality experiences.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Welcome visitors (groups of 1–19 persons) with autonomy, coordinating seamlessly with back-office teams (Planning and Reservations) while maintaining the maison's quality standards and service philosophy
  • Establish an immediate sense of hospitality and well-being, creating a convivial atmosphere that sets the tone for the visitor journey
  • Communicate the maison's values, heritage, creativity, and aspirations throughout the client experience, providing compelling storytelling that brings Ruinart's universe to life
  • Lead champagne tastings, providing expert commentary and guided discovery of the maison's cuvées with support from the sommellerie team
  • Facilitate the transition from tour to boutique, advising visitors on wine selections in collaboration with sales consultants and managing transactions through point-of-sale systems
  • Respond proactively to visitor inquiries and requests, ensuring that all questions receive timely, thoughtful resolutions
  • Cultivate enduring client relationships through attentive follow-up and participation in the visitor CRM database, building a base of loyal advocates for the maison
  • Maintain continuous knowledge of brand and maison news through dedicated study periods, enabling personalized experiences and mastery of multi-brand narratives
  • Host representation events both internally and externally as required
  • Perform ancillary duties as scheduling permits, including ticket sales, boutique support, and by-the-glass tasting service delivery, with associated wine commentary
  • Gather and analyze visitor information in advance of special guest receptions, coordinating activities and hosting curated dining and tasting experiences
  • Transport visitors as part of specialized experiences
  • Contribute to the onboarding and training of new visitor center and reception staff, and occasionally subsidiary personnel
  • Maintain exemplary presentation and comportment befitting the maison's luxury positioning

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (Bac +3/+4) in tourism, sales, or equivalent field
  • Minimum three years of professional experience, including potential international exposure
  • Fluency in French and English, written and oral; additional languages advantageous
  • Exceptional cultural knowledge and intellectual curiosity
  • Outstanding oratory and communication capabilities
  • Proven commercial acumen and strong customer relationship management skills
  • Oenological and viticulture knowledge
