The Hospitality and Gastronomy in Champagne programme provides 450 hours of training over 14 weeks, from 30 November 2026 to 19 March 2027, combining 10 weeks at Lycée Hôtelier de Bazeilles with a four-week immersion in a Champagne House. After successful completion, participants may be offered a temporary employment contract of at least eight months in hospitality, wine service, bar or culinary production at a House in Épernay or Reims.
Role & Responsibilities
- Complete 450 hours of training over 14 weeks, from 30 November 2026 to 19 March 2027.
- Attend 10 weeks of training at Lycée Hôtelier de Bazeilles and complete a four-week immersion within a Champagne House.
- Take part in training at Lycée des Métiers de Bazeilles and within three Champagne Houses in Reims and Épernay, including exclusive visits.
- Represent the values, history and identity of the Champagne Houses.
- Master the fundamentals of excellence in the luxury sector.
- Develop the art of hospitality and the ability to create memorable emotions and experiences.
- Build skills in wine service and oenology, from vine to glass.
- Strengthen confidence and verbal and non-verbal communication.
Qualifications
- Recent graduates or adults seeking a career change.
- Holds a hospitality and catering diploma (BTS, Bac+2) or has significant experience in the sector.
- Passionate about luxury, hospitality and Champagne, with an interest in working for a leading House.
