Ruinart Bartender Training Programme in Épernay, France – 450-hour hospitality course with 8-month contract placement
Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome guests independently within the bar area and provide personalized counsel to ensure complete satisfaction throughout service
- Optimize revenue through quality-driven recommendations and accurate order-taking for food and beverages
- Prepare and serve cocktails according to established technical specifications
- Present, serve, and discuss the range of champagne cuvées on the wine list; communicate the heritage and stories of the Maison
- Prepare certain food items and manage the mise en place, clearing, and maintenance of assigned bar station
- Verify billing accuracy, present invoices, and process payment
- Promote available activities and products within the Brand Home; coordinate assigned personnel
- Participate in bar stock management, inventory, tableware, and linen replenishment
- Maintain and enforce food safety, hygiene, and alcohol and tobacco compliance regulations; report any safety concerns to management
- May contribute to the animation of internal and external representation events
Qualifications
- Diploma in hospitality and catering (BTS BAC+2) or equivalent, or significant professional experience in the sector
- Passion for the luxury, hospitality, and Champagne sectors with desire to evolve within a prestigious Maison
- Proficiency in embodying the values, history, and DNA of Champagne Houses
- Mastery of luxury excellence fundamentals and the art of welcoming guests and creating memorable experiences

Experience
Beginner to intermediate; candidates may be recent graduates or career-changers with demonstrated passion for luxury hospitality and Champagne.
Education
Diploma in hospitality and catering (BTS BAC+2), hotel management, or equivalent; or significant documented professional experience in food and beverage service within luxury or upscale hospitality settings.
Workplace
This position is based in Épernay, Grand Est, France, within easy reach of Reims.
