Rossimoda — Vigonza (Padua): Upper Quality Control Technician to inspect suppliers' uppers and ensure luxury footwear quality.
Role & Responsibilities
- Perform incoming and in‑process quality inspections of uppers produced by external suppliers to ensure compliance with defined luxury footwear standards.
- Participate in conformity validation activities for uppers in coordination with the Industrialisation department and manage the release/unblocking of suppliers' first‑run heads/series.
- Detect and report non‑conformities, document findings and propose corrective actions in collaboration with industrialisation and lasting/finishing teams.
- Monitor and analyse supplier quality performance, supporting the development of a supplier quality culture and constructive, improvement‑oriented relationships.
- Record and maintain inspection data and related information in the company quality systems.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years' experience in the footwear industry in quality control or in lasting, assembly (orlatura), mounting and finishing operations.
- Thorough knowledge of uppers, lasting processes and typical footwear manufacturing operations.
- Proven autonomy, strong result orientation and solid organisational skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within cross‑functional teams.
- High attention to detail, initiative and intellectual curiosity.
- Proficient use of PC and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel; competent user of Outlook.

Experience
At least 5 years of hands‑on experience in footwear quality control or in production roles such as lasting, assembly/orlatura, mounting and finishing within a footwear manufacturing environment.
Education
High‑school diploma or vocational/technical qualification in footwear technology, leather goods, or a related manufacturing discipline; formal training in footwear production or quality assurance is advantageous.
