Rossimoda (CELINE, LVMH) in Vigonza, Italy seeks a Footwear Technical Developer — Men's Formal & Casual to lead prototype and model development.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop prototypes and samples for men's formal, casual and tubular moccasin lines, ensuring fidelity to stylistic inputs.
- Collaborate continuously with the brand, internal technical departments and external suppliers to guarantee fitting, production feasibility and industrializability of models.
- Develop and validate lasts (forme) and shape development according to style directives.
- Identify, analyze and resolve technical issues arising during development, proposing alternative solutions and technical innovations where appropriate.
- Manage development timelines to ensure collection delivery in line with brand schedules and expected quality standards.
- Prepare, review and maintain technical documentation supporting product development and industrial transfer.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years' experience in an equivalent technical development role within structured luxury footwear environments, with demonstrable focus on men's formal, casual and tubular moccasin construction.
- Advanced technical competence in modellistica (pattern making/lasts) and technical development from last creation through model industrialization.
- Professional working proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Proven ability to manage tight deadlines and high workload with resilience and flexibility.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative, team‑oriented approach.
- Curiosity, proactivity and adaptability; CAD 2D knowledge is a plus.

Experience
At least 10 years in a comparable technical development role within the luxury footwear sector, specifically working on men's formal and casual shoes and tubular moccasin constructions in well‑structured manufacturing or development environments.
Education
Degree or technical diploma in footwear design, industrial design, product engineering or a related discipline; or equivalent vocational qualification combined with extensive industry experience.
