Role & Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate and coach a dedicated watch assembly team, transmitting strategic orientations and setting individual performance objectives.
- Support team members in achieving targets and developing watchmaking competencies through on-the-job coaching and structured development.
- Create and sustain a positive working climate that encourages communication, trust and team cohesion.
- Manage operational performance by deploying and improving steering and reporting tools to meet production objectives.
- Balance workload and capacity planning for the unit, taking into account internal client constraints and production priorities.

Qualifications
- CFC (Swiss Federal VET Certificate) in watchmaking (or equivalent vocational watchmaking qualification).
- Initial management experience; proven ability to lead small teams in an industrial watchmaking context.
- Demonstrated success managing agile production teams within a horological/manufacturing environment.
- Natural leadership with strong listening skills, empathy and the ability to foster team engagement.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities when interacting with operators and stakeholders.

Experience
Initial supervisory/management experience in an industrial watchmaking or horology production environment is required; prior success in managing agile teams and delivering performance targets is expected.
Education
CFC in Watchmaking (Swiss Federal VET Certificate) or equivalent vocational qualification.
