Role & Responsibilities

  • Assist experienced watchmakers with assembly, disassembly and regulation of mechanical movements under supervision.
  • Perform precision micromechanical tasks such as component fitting, cleaning and lubrication following established procedures.
  • Conduct basic quality-control checks using loupe and measurement tools and record findings in production documentation.
  • Support workshop maintenance, tool care and the organisation of workstations to meet hygiene and safety standards.
  • Participate in formal technical training sessions and on-the-job mentoring to build competence in Swiss watchmaking techniques.

Qualifications

  • Enrollment in or completion of a vocational program in watchmaking/horology, mechanical engineering or equivalent technical training.
  • Excellent manual dexterity and fine-motor control; strong visual acuity and hand–eye coordination.
  • Methodical approach to work, attention to detail and commitment to rigorous quality standards.
  • Professional discretion, reliability and the ability to follow written technical procedures precisely.
