Role & Responsibilities

  • Regulate and fine-tune mechanical watch movements to meet chronometric tolerances using timing machines and micrometric instruments.
  • Perform precision adjustments on escapements, balance assemblies and regulating organs to optimise rate, amplitude and isochronism.
  • Inspect, test and document timekeeping performance across temperatures and positions; implement corrective actions where required.
  • Execute component-level troubleshooting and collaborate with movement assembly and quality teams to resolve deviations.
  • Maintain and calibrate specialised bench equipment (timegrapher, microscopes, micrometers) and ensure strict adherence to technical procedures.
  • Produce detailed work records and contribute to continuous improvement of regulating processes and quality standards.
  • Uphold brand-level cleanliness, traceability and handling protocols for high-value components and finished timepieces.

Qualifications

  • Vocational qualification in watchmaking (CFC, WOSTEP or equivalent) or proven equivalent experience in haute horlogerie.
  • Demonstrable proficiency regulating mechanical movements, including chronograph and automatic calibres.
  • Excellent manual dexterity, visual acuity and patience for sub-millimetre adjustments under a microscope.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and follow strict assembly/regulation procedures.
  • Commitment to high standards of quality control, traceability and confidentiality.
  • Good problem-solving skills and the capacity to communicate technical findings to cross-functional teams.
