Rolex in Bienne seeks a Watch Finisher on a fixed-term contract (2x8 shifts) to polish oscillating masses and support production.
Role & Responsibilities
- Execute manual finishing and polishing operations on oscillating masses (rotors) using lathes and polishing equipment, ensuring surface quality and dimensional conformity.
- Participate in prototype development and first-series adjustments to validate manufacturability and finish standards.
- Collaborate closely with the methods/reference engineer during co-design, prototyping, process qualification and equipment acquisition phases.
- Contribute to industrialisation and series production of oscillating masses, including preparation and replacement of polishing discs and tooling.
- Record production and quality-control data accurately in the information system.
- Perform first-level preventive maintenance on polishing and turning equipment.
- Develop polyvalence by learning additional technologies and procedures and participate actively in continuous-improvement rituals and team meetings.
Qualifications
- CFC (Swiss Federal VET) as a Termineur in watch finishing, AFP Polisher or an equivalent vocational qualification.
- Minimum two years' demonstrable experience in polishing and finishing watch components, preferably on precious materials.
- Proven manual polishing skills on horological components with the ability to reproduce precise technical gestures consistently.
- Excellent visual acuity, exceptional manual dexterity, rigour and an acute sense of detail.
- Good command of computer tools, notably Microsoft 365 (O365).
- Strong communication skills, organisational autonomy and a proactive, team-oriented attitude.
- Comfortable working in multidisciplinary teams and with a culture of constructive feedback; committed to quality and sustainability.

Experience
At least 2 years of hands-on experience in polishing/finishing watch components, including manual polishing on precious materials and series-production environments.
Education
CFC as Termineur (watch finishing) or AFP Polisher, or an equivalent vocational qualification.
