Rolex in Geneva seeks a Tooling Design Technician to design CAD tooling for dial production. Permanent full‑time role at Rolex, Geneva.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design manufacturing and inspection tooling in CAD to meet expressed and implicit production requirements while respecting company design standards for quality, cost and lead time.
- Produce detailed models and manufacturing drawings for jigs, fixtures and gauges, ensuring adherence to established drafting standards.
- Ensure tooling is manufactured, delivered and qualified for production use; coordinate with workshops and suppliers to secure on-time availability.
- Create and maintain technical data and documentation related to tooling (drawings, specifications, BOMs).
- Contribute to the tooling design reference library and continuous improvement of design practices.
- Facilitate clear communication between production, quality, suppliers and other stakeholders to support tooling deployment.
- Support prototyping and initial validation activities to guarantee tooling performance in series production.
Qualifications
- Swiss Federal VET diploma (CFC) as Constructeur / Toolmaker or equivalent vocational qualification.
- Practical experience in tooling design or manufacturing is an asset.
- Proven ability in assembly dimensioning and interpretation of mechanical drawings.
- Strong organisational skills, autonomy and demonstrated capacity for cross-functional communication.
- Analytical mindset with technical curiosity, rigour and a proactive approach to problem solving.

Experience
Initial professional experience in tooling, workshop manufacturing or production engineering is advantageous but not mandatory; candidates with a relevant CFC and hands-on mechanical aptitude will be considered.
Education
CFC Constructeur (Toolmaker/Constructor) or equivalent vocational diploma; formal training in CAD is required.
