Rolex seeks a Tooling Design Engineer in Geneva, Switzerland to develop manufacturing documentation and tooling systems for ceramic product production.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Design and document manufacturing files, technical drawings, prototypes, and fabrication and inspection tooling
  • Ensure technical consistency across product specifications, manufacturing processes, tooling systems, and control procedures
  • Verify manufacturability, maintainability, and robustness of proposed technical solutions
  • Create, organize, and maintain technical data within enterprise management systems
  • Contribute to process standardization, methodology improvement, and technical knowledge retention
  • Facilitate communication and coordination between internal and external partners

Qualifications

  • Engineering degree in mechanical design, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or manufacturing methods
  • Proficiency in ISO geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
  • General mechanical engineering knowledge
  • Competency with CAD software (CREO preferred)
  • Teamwork orientation, receptiveness, sociability, and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated organizational competencies, communication ability, and autonomy
  • Analytical and synthetic thinking, technical rigor, and technical curiosity
  • Strong initiative and proactive problem-solving approach

Experience
