Role & Responsibilities
- Prepare, set up and commission presses and tooling for qualification of new products and processes
- Develop and validate new tooling and manufacturing methods for production readiness
- Document commissioning outcomes and produce formal technical reports
- Write user guides and setup sheets (adjustment records) for production teams
- Provide technical support to production and participate in continuous improvement projects
- Preserve and formalize best practices and know‑how through documentation and training
Qualifications
- HES Engineer, ES Technician in microtechnology or equivalent technical diploma
- Strong knowledge of stamping (presswork) techniques and mechanical principles
- Proven experience in material forming and press/tooling setup
- Autonomous, well organised, rigorous and team-oriented
- Effective problem-solving skills and ability to communicate with multidisciplinary stakeholders
Skills
Experience
Practical experience in tooling/setup and metal forming processes, with hands-on work commissioning presses and qualifying tools for production. Specific years are not stated but demonstrated experience in stamping and tool development is required.
Education
HES engineering degree, ES technician diploma in microtechnology or equivalent technical qualification.
