Rolex Internship: Technical Ceramics Characterization Intern in Geneva. Study mechanical and physical properties of advanced ceramics in R&D.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design and conduct mechanical tests to measure technical ceramic properties
- Interpret fracture surfaces and analyse results using statistical methodologies
- Measure physical properties of ceramics using dilatometre and spectrophotometer instruments
- Prepare and condition samples for testing
- Produce detailed written reports and deliver oral presentations of findings
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Master's programme in Materials, Mechanics, or Physics
- Essential theoretical knowledge in mechanics and materials science
- Demonstrated experience conducting laboratory or mechanical tests
- Autonomous, rigorous, and intellectually curious
- Strong analytical and synthetic reasoning abilities
