Role & Responsibilities

  • Set up and commission Swiss‑type automatic lathes for series production and perform machine changeovers to ensure uninterrupted runs.
  • Operate and supervise series production while strictly adhering to prescribed quality and production standards.
  • Conduct in‑process controls, adjust machine settings, and manage tool wear and breakage to maintain tolerances.
  • Diagnose common part and process defects and implement corrective actions to restore compliance.
  • Complete and maintain production follow‑up documentation and communicate operational instructions to colleagues.
  • Contribute to skills development and participate in continuous improvement initiatives on the shopfloor.

Qualifications

  • Swiss Federal VET Certificate (CFC) in Polymechanics or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven, hands‑on experience in décolletage on Swissnano or Citizen R04 machines.
  • Familiarity with root‑cause problem‑solving methods and in‑process inspection techniques.
  • Strong team orientation, clear communication skills, autonomy and a high sense of responsibility.
