Rolex in Geneva seeks a Logistics Manager to oversee inventory, shipping and customs for high-value horology products.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end logistics operations for high-value watch components and finished timepieces, including inbound reception, internal distribution and outbound shipments.
- Manage inventory accuracy and stock control processes to ensure traceability and minimize discrepancies across production and distribution channels.
- Coordinate customs, import/export compliance and documentation for international shipments, liaising with freight forwarders and customs authorities.
- Implement and maintain warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP processes (SAP), driving continuous improvement and process standardization.
- Supervise and coach warehouse and logistics staff, defining priorities, schedules and performance indicators.
- Partner with procurement, production, quality and retail teams to align logistics capacity with manufacturing plans and boutique demand.
- Ensure security protocols for storage, transport and handling of high-value items, maintaining strict confidentiality and chain-of-custody records.
- Analyse logistics KPIs and cost drivers, preparing regular reports and recommending efficiency and cost-reduction initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven knowledge of international customs procedures and import/export documentation.
- Practical experience with SAP (ERP) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS); advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage teams in a warehouse or distribution environment and to work cross-functionally with operations and commercial teams.
- High attention to detail, discretion handling high-value goods, and strong organisational skills.

Experience
Typically requires 3–5 years of progressive logistics or supply-chain experience, ideally within luxury goods, watchmaking, jewelry or another sector handling high-value, security-sensitive products. Experience leading small operational teams and managing ERP/WMS implementations is preferred.
Education
Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, industrial engineering, business administration, or equivalent professional experience.
