Role & Responsibilities
- Plan, conduct and follow up supplier audits to assess and improve supplier performance and compliance.
- Define and manage an annual supplier audit programme in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
- Provide methodological support to suppliers on quality tools, processes and improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with the supplier inspection team to resolve complex quality issues.
- Lead root-cause analyses with suppliers and oversee implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Exploit statistical data and performance metrics to inform decision-making and continuous improvement priorities.
- Participate in cross-functional projects aimed at process optimisation and ongoing quality enhancement.
- Develop and refine quality tools and documentation to better serve internal and external users.
- Ensure clear, timely communication with all internal contributors and supplier contacts.
Qualifications
- Engineering degree (HES/EPF) with a specialisation in quality or business management.
- Minimum five years' proven experience in supplier quality assurance, including audit responsibilities.
- Established background as an auditor with strong knowledge of audit techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and drive corrective actions with suppliers.
- Willingness and availability for frequent, multi-day travel to supplier sites.

Experience
At least 5 years of hands-on experience in supplier quality assurance, including conducting supplier audits, leading root-cause investigations and implementing corrective actions in an industrial/manufacturing context. Proven track record of working cross-functionally and supporting inspection teams on complex problems.
Education
Engineering degree (HES/EPF) with emphasis in quality management or business management.
