Rolex internship in Bienne: develop specialized cutting tools via FEM analysis and experimental testing in watchmaking manufacturing.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop a finite element method (FEM) numerical model for chip control studies
- Evaluate the technical feasibility of experimental testing protocols
- Validate and refine the model based on experimental results
- Prepare a comprehensive technical synthesis report
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Master's degree in Mechanics, Materials, Physics, or equivalent
- Proficiency with finite element simulation software
- Pragmatic and realistic approach to problem-solving
- Strong synthesis and analytical capabilities
