Rolex in Geneva seeks a Security Technical Systems Engineer to design, commission and maintain CCTV, access control and alarm systems.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Design and specify technical security systems including CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, fire detection and building management interfaces.
  • Lead installation, commissioning and testing of security systems across manufacturing, office and retail facilities; produce and maintain detailed technical documentation and as-built drawings.
  • Manage third-party suppliers and integrators: tender evaluation, contract management, work supervision and quality assurance.
  • Perform risk assessments, vulnerability analyses and system audits to ensure systems meet operational security requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Oversee preventative maintenance and corrective interventions; develop lifecycle and spare-parts strategies to maximise system availability.
  • Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders (facilities, IT, legal, operations) to ensure secure integration of IP-based security infrastructure and compliance with corporate policies.
  • Provide technical training and operational handover to internal teams; act as escalation point for complex incidents and participate in on-call rotations when required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronic engineering, security engineering, telecommunications or equivalent technical qualification; Master’s preferred.
  • Minimum five years’ professional experience in design, commissioning and maintenance of integrated technical security systems in industrial, institutional or high-security environments.
  • Proven track record managing security systems projects and third-party integrators from specification through commissioning.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in French and English; ability to prepare technical specifications and reports.
  • Ability to obtain any required site security clearances and to work with confidential information.
