Rolex seeks a Security Systems Manager to lead specialists responsible for the operation, maintenance, and development of technical security systems across its sites. The role combines team leadership, service-provider and project oversight, system performance and cybersecurity governance, and coordination with internal partners.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Communicate departmental direction, set objectives, and support team members in achieving them.
  • Organize team activities to align workload, capacity, priorities, and competencies.
  • Develop team members’ skills, autonomy, and engagement, and ensure knowledge sharing.
  • Build a trusting work environment that fosters communication, cohesion, and collective performance through demanding yet supportive close management.
  • Ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of technical security systems in line with expected service levels.
  • Oversee preventive, corrective, and upgrade maintenance, updates, version upgrades, and obsolescence management.
  • Manage internal and external service providers, monitor maintenance contracts, and contribute to operating budget control.
  • Ensure the consistency of technical architectures, their interfaces with information systems, and their compliance with cybersecurity requirements.
  • Organize expert support for operators and internal users, and monitor activity using availability, service quality, incident, and cost indicators.
  • Coordinate works and interventions that may affect security installations with the Buildings & Infrastructure teams, information systems teams, project managers, operators, and contractors.
  • Oversee system upgrade, renewal, and deployment projects from requirements definition through commissioning.
  • Ensure the quality of technical concepts, documentation, testing, acceptance, and handover to operations.
  • Deploy and maintain the standards, processes, and tools required for operations and maintenance, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Build trusted relationships with partner departments and ensure compliance with security, confidentiality, compliance, cybersecurity, and business continuity requirements.

Qualifications

  • Successful experience managing a team.
  • Experience managing service providers, maintenance contracts, and technical projects.
  • Established experience operating, maintaining, and upgrading technical security systems.
  • Technical or university higher education: HES/EPF engineering qualification, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, or equivalent training.
  • Good knowledge of access control, physical identity and access management, video surveillance, intercom, visitor management, parking, or security hypervision solutions.
  • Excellent understanding of IT infrastructure, networks, servers, databases, application interfaces, and cybersecurity challenges.
  • Project management training or certification is an asset.
  • Good knowledge of standard office and reporting tools.
  • Excellent spoken and written French; technical English is preferred, and German is an asset.
