Rolex seeks a Security Officer in Geneva to ensure equipment safety across manufacturing sites, overseeing risk assessments and compliance protocols.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Assist the senior security engineer and provide technical coverage for safety-related matters across all sites
  • Ensure security requirements are integrated into equipment acquisition processes, from specifications development through on-site reception
  • Enforce adherence to safety protocols and procedures by technical teams and monitor compliance
  • Conduct and maintain comprehensive risk analyses—both general and specific, including isolated work scenarios—across facilities
  • Coordinate with maintenance, facilities, and infrastructure teams on security and safety initiatives
  • Develop technical specifications and safety requirements documentation for new equipment procurement
  • Assess equipment compliance and safety risks prior to deployment; participate in technical reception inspections
  • Oversee safety protocols on construction projects and engage with external contractors as needed
  • Lead a technical network connecting maintenance, facilities, and infrastructure teams to optimize safety practices
  • Perform risk evaluations, propose preventive measures, and track implementation of corrective actions
  • Author safety reports, procedures, guidelines, and training or awareness materials
  • Educate and advise technical teams on security and safety standards, fostering a culture of compliance

Qualifications

  • Technical training background, ideally in maintenance, electromechanics, or equivalent discipline; supplementary qualification in occupational health and safety is advantageous
  • Strong technical knowledge of machinery and equipment operations
  • Demonstrated mastery of occupational risk assessment and evaluation principles
  • Ability to identify applicable safety requirements for equipment, construction projects, and technical installations
  • Competence in drafting clear, structured technical specifications, procedures, reports, and safety guidelines
  • Proficiency with standard office information systems and strong written communication skills
