Rolex R&D Technician for prototype dial supply management in Geneva; oversees component procurement, precious materials tracking, and inventory control.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage full procurement and tracking of dial prototype components across all manufacturing stages
- Oversee receipt, storage, and inventory management of precious materials and gemstones
- Conduct regular stocktaking and inventory reconciliation for prototype materials and finished dials
- Issue work orders to internal departments including setting and finishing workshops
- Track and coordinate procurement of specialty component resources such as ornamental stones and precious gemstones
- Manage photographic and saleable dial inventory, including product coding, weight initialization, and automated stock delivery
- Maintain cross-functional communication with scheduling managers, planners, R&D managers, finance partners, and workshop personnel
Qualifications
- Technician diploma, Bachelor HES, or HEG qualification in logistics or supply chain management
- Proficiency in standard office software including Excel, OneNote, and PowerPoint
- Proficiency with SAP enterprise resource planning software
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent activities and priorities
- Strong analytical and synthesis capabilities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Team-oriented mindset combined with strong autonomy

Skills
Experience
Desirable experience in materials management or supply chain operations within the watchmaking or horology industry. Knowledge of dial manufacturing processes is advantageous.
Education
Technician diploma or Bachelor degree (HES or HEG) in logistics, supply chain management, or related field.
