Role & Responsibilities
- Design and develop a remote troubleshooting and support platform to assist technicians and end-users with diagnostics and interventions.
- Specify system architecture and select appropriate protocols, libraries and remote-control technologies for secure, reliable connectivity.
- Implement prototypes and production-ready components (client agents, server back-end, secure communication channels).
- Integrate remote-access tools and diagnostic instrumentation; automate common support workflows and data collection.
- Collaborate with IT, watchmaking service teams and internal stakeholders to capture requirements and iterate on the solution.
- Perform testing, validation and security hardening; document technical design, installation steps and user procedures.
- Deliver deployment artefacts, train internal support teams and provide handover documentation for ongoing maintenance.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor's or Master's program in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or an equivalent technical discipline.
- Practical knowledge of operating systems (Linux and Windows), networking (TCP/IP, VPN) and secure remote communication.
- Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, Bash) and version control (Git).
- Capacity to design simple back-end services and lightweight client agents; familiarity with REST APIs is advantageous.
- Strong analytical troubleshooting skills, attention to detail and the ability to translate technician needs into robust technical solutions.
- Professional communication skills; ability to work with multidisciplinary teams. French and English are advantageous in a Geneva-based role.

Academic projects, prior internships or coursework involving system administration, network troubleshooting, remote-access tools or backend development. Demonstrable hands-on experience developing small-scale client/server solutions and debugging cross-platform issues.
Education
