Rolex in Geneva seeks an intern to support Reception & Events — assist visitor reception, event logistics and administrative coordination.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support daily reception activities: welcome and register visitors, manage access badges and maintain a professional front-of-house presence.
  • Assist with the planning and on-site coordination of corporate events, receptions and meetings, including room setup, audiovisual checks and liaising with suppliers (catering, security, transport).
  • Manage RSVPs and guest lists, maintain event registration databases and update contact records in line with data-protection requirements.
  • Provide administrative support to the Reception & Events team: prepare meeting materials, draft attendee communications, process invoices and maintain logistical checklists.
  • Act as a point of contact for internal stakeholders and external guests, ensuring timely responses to enquiries and escalation of issues as appropriate.
  • Contribute to post-event reporting, inventory of event assets and continuous improvement of operational procedures.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in tertiary education (Bachelor or Master) in hospitality, events management, communications, business or a related discipline.
  • Fluency in French and a strong command of English, both spoken and written; additional languages are an advantage.
  • Excellent interpersonal presence, professional telephone manner and polished client-facing skills.
  • Strong organisational aptitude with attention to detail, ability to prioritise competing tasks and work under time constraints.
  • Discretion and respect for confidentiality when handling visitors, VIP guests and sensitive information.
  • Availability to work occasional early/late hours or weekends for events.
